If you use dryer sheets, it can be awfully hard to throw away that still-wonderfully-fresh-smelling sheet of perfumed goodness.  Here are five savvy ways you can use it again before tossing it out.

  1. Keep it in your purse for static-removal on the fly
  2. Stuff it in stinky shoes lurking in your closet
  3. Layer between clothes, particularly sweaters, which could use some freshening up
  4. Toss one in your vacuum cleaner bag to give a boost of freshness to your room when you vacuum
  5. Leave one in the door of your car for a spiffy smelling set of wheels

If you really want to work toward reducing household waste, we've got another solution for you:  zJayne from etsy is offering a sample reusable dryer pillow for about the cost of a box of store bought sheets.  Each scented dryer sheet pillow sachet is hand made from recycled t-shirt sleeves.
