You can volunteer to be a magician's assistant with the wristlet. Heck, in some versions you can even go diving with a wristlet. So stop slinging that giant bag over your shoulder, give your back a break, and get yourself a wristlet! You don't know what you've been missing!
- Kate Spade Wellesley Becca Wristlet, $67 (orig. $135) at katespade.com. Kate's classic design meets punchy, preppy pink. At this price, we'll take one in blue and gray, too.
- Ed Hardy Whitney Wristlet, $89.95 at dsw.com. Fluffy, furry, fun, fabulous and functional. That's an awful lot of f-words for a sweet little bag.
- Fred Flare Teal Sunrise Clutch, $16 at fredflare.com. We're tickled in teal with two interior pockets and an ultra-slim design.
- Petal Wristlet in Dark Gray Denim, $37 at etsy.com. Handmade by designer Definition of Self, the only thing not to love here is that the five dollar bill isn't included. We'll take one each of her lovely denim, grey and black versions.
- Owl Pal Wristlet, $18 at lulus.com. Hoo doesn't love an owl pal? (I couldn't resist). Magnetic closure, roomy, and detachable strap.
- Rebecca Minkoff Heart Cory Wristlet, $65 at shopbop.com. Rocker chic with a heart.
- Galleria London Wristlet, $21.25 at ebags.com. When you've got a yen for Big Ben, slip him on your wrist.
Savvy Scoop: If you're on a tight budget (aren't we all?), you can easily transform your favorite zippered coin purse into a wristlet with a piece of ribbon scrap or a detachable purse strap replacement. For ribbon, look for a sturdy piece, like grosgrain for extra safety and loop it through the zipper hole. You can get detachable strap replacements here.
